Cassandra in word and image

Some recent images of Iceland by Elizabeth Adams.

Book designer, artist, writer, publisher, editor and more... If you haven't taken a peek at the recent work of Elizabeth Adams, I recommend that you do. She is a wonderful example of spirit in action, moving toward the beautiful.

Beth has a lot of muscular new pieces inspired by her trip to Iceland, all discussed on her blog, The Cassandra Pages. Want a print or painting of your own? Try Studio Cassandra, where Beth has a brand new Etsy shop with work that is affordable and beautiful.

She is the publisher at the Montreal small press, Phoenicia Publishing, where she also edits and does design work. (My long poem Thaliad, with art by Clive Hicks-Jenkins, will appear from Phoenicia, but in the meanwhile there are other lovely books and more to see there.)

  1. Thanks for posting this! I should follow her blog. It is terrific and might inspire me to write something in mine.

  2. Yes, don't be a slacker! XD

She is so wonderfully well-rounded in her arts interests. And a lovely person as well...

Alas, I must once again remind large numbers of Chinese salesmen and other worldwide peddlers that if they fall into the Gulf of Spam, they will be eaten by roaming Balrogs. The rest of you, lovers of grace, poetry, and horses (nod to Yeats--you do not have to be fond of horses), feel free to leave fascinating missives and curious arguments.
