August 20-28 book events: an invitation

Here is the facebook invitation to my four August events in North Carolina; feel free to share, post, invite friends, etc.

Please scroll down to prior posts for more information about upcoming events and current happenings. (You may also go to the Events page (tab above) to see more, or ferret out the individual bookstore site--Flyleaf in Chapel Hill, Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh, McIntyre's in Fearrington/Pittsboro, and Malaprop's in Asheville.)

I shall be quite mad with house repair (a carpenter, painters, an electrician, and a washer/dryer repairman--is that enough yet?) and camp ferrying and packing busyness for the next few days, but please leave a note if you have a question; I'll show up eventually!

Alas, I must once again remind large numbers of Chinese salesmen and other worldwide peddlers that if they fall into the Gulf of Spam, they will be eaten by roaming Balrogs. The rest of you, lovers of grace, poetry, and horses (nod to Yeats--you do not have to be fond of horses), feel free to leave fascinating missives and curious arguments.
