Alas, I must once again remind large numbers of Chinese salesmen and other worldwide peddlers that if they fall into the Gulf of Spam, they will be eaten by roaming Balrogs. The rest of you, lovers of grace, poetry, and horses (nod to Yeats--you do not have to be fond of horses), feel free to leave fascinating missives and curious arguments.
Dear Marly, I read this entire chapter aloud to myself to feel the words roll off my tongue. You are a poet, through and through, and it makes your prose magic. I am amazed, though I know I shouldn't be because it's your writing. The experience of it is truly remarkable.

Hello, MB--
ReplyDeleteYou just popped up as I was about to close my laptop--what a lovely thing to say. I'm so glad you did! It's very cheerful and encouraging on a morning when I have many dreary things to do and a cold to boot! Thank you.
