I don't collograph often--and when I do, I usually just "ink" the collage with black gesso or tinted gesso and flip it ASAP onto a clean sheet of printmaking paper and bray it down! My prints are thus mostly "ghost prints" and none are high quality. Mary, I read that you make a lot of collagraphs so do you have a printing press? It's a favourite printmaking technique of mine. Do you glue everything onto paper or do you use some kind of rigid surface such canvas board?
